What will it actually cost you?
The sticker price is rarely the price. Tell us how many people need a login and how you want to pay, and we will show what each tool costs on its own terms.

What this does, and what it cannot
Every figure comes from the vendor's own pricing page, read on the date shown beside it, with the billing toggle switched both ways. That last part is where most comparisons go wrong: the number a pricing page shows by default is usually the annual rate, and quoting it as a monthly price understates the cost by a fifth or more.
Where a vendor bundles logins, we pick the cheapest plan that covers your team. Where a vendor sells extra seats, we add them. Where a vendor does not publish seat terms at all, we say so rather than guessing — and several do not, which is itself worth knowing before you commit to a year.
Not included, and why
- Profound — Profound stopped publishing prices. Its pricing page now lists a free 7-day Trial and an Enterprise tier priced “Custom”, behind a demo. There is no figure to calculate with.
- Baby Love Growth — Priced in euros, and its Shopify listing and pricing page disagreed when we read them. We will not convert a currency and present the result as a price.
What we could not confirm
- Whether any of these vendors negotiates, discounts, or runs offers that are not on the public page. We only read what is published.
- What each charges when you exceed a plan's limits. Most pricing pages do not state it.
- Currency and tax. Figures are the published list price, and Ahrefs in particular shows a currency based on where you are.
Common questions
- How much do AI SEO tools actually cost for a team?
- It depends on how the vendor sells logins, not on the sticker price. Semrush lists additional users from $45 a month each, while Moz Pro bundles 2 users at $179 and 3 at $299. Outrank includes unlimited users on one $99 plan. This calculator applies each vendor’s own rule.
- Is it cheaper to pay monthly or yearly for SEO tools?
- Yearly is cheaper where it is offered, but not every tool offers it and the gap varies. Moz Pro Standard is $99 monthly against $79 yearly. SEOwriting.ai is $19 against $14. Ahrefs Starter lists no annual rate at all. The toggle above shows both.
- Which AI SEO tool is cheapest for one person?
- Among the tools we track, SEOwriting.ai Starter at $19 a month and Keysearch Starter at $24 are the lowest entry prices, though they do different jobs. Set the calculator to one person to see the full ordering on your billing basis.
- Why do your prices differ from other comparison sites?
- Most quote the annual rate as if it were the monthly one. We read each vendor’s page with the billing toggle switched both ways and record both numbers with the date. SEOwriting.ai is widely quoted at $14; paying month to month is $19.
- Did RankJudge test these tools?
- No. RankJudge runs no testing and says so everywhere. Every figure here was read off the vendor’s own pricing page on the date shown beside it, and each tool links to the page we read so you can check it yourself.
Price is only half the decision
Cheapest is not the same as right. Our comparisons say plainly who each tool is wrong for, and the picks by situation name one tool per kind of business with a runner-up.
